D&F Charity Trust, the charitable arm of D&F Equipment Sales, Inc. recently hosted its 12th annual Arkansas Golf Classic, bringing together sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and community supporters for a day dedicated to giving back.
Held in Northwest Arkansas at Shadow Valley Country Club, the annual event continues to support organizations making a meaningful impact throughout the region. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit Arkansas Children’s Northwest, Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, and the EMPOWER program at the University of Arkansas.
Present at this event were EMPOWER student ambassador Jack Graham and his father, Chase Graham, who joined golfers throughout the day and shared firsthand insight into the program’s impact. Designed for students with disabilities, the program provides academic, social, and life-skills instruction while allowing participants to experience college life at the University of Arkansas. “It has meant a lot to me and my family, helping me with being independent, living on my own, getting ready for a job or an internship in the future, and just getting ready for the future to be independent as a young man,” shared Jack. His remarks helped connect tournament participants and donors directly to the students and programs their support makes possible.
